Q: When do I get my receipt?
A: One-time donors will get a receipt in the mail shortly after they complete the payment process. Monthly donors receive consolidated receipts for all the gifts they have made in a year, issued before the end of February of the following year. If you would like to receive a receipt per gift or immediately after donating, please contact us at 905-796-5888 or firstname.lastname@example.org to make this change.

Q: Why do I get so many mailings?
A: We strive to be accountable and frugal in our mailings. Unlike a church, we cannot pass around a weekly offering basket and therefore we send out approximately 12 mailings per year. These are our only source of regular gifts from our donors; without them we would be unable to continue providing food, shelter and support to those in need to the same extent. You can reduce or change the number of mailings you receive by calling us at 905-796-5888. Any change will take 8-10 weeks to take effect.
