Regeneration Outreach Community

Since 1999, the Regeneration Outreach Community has provided a safe and caring environment for vulnerable people experiencing homelessness in Brampton. They aim to restore hope, dignity, and purpose to those experiencing homelessness, precariously housed, or living in extreme poverty by offering essential care, health care, and community care programs

No matter your availability, the Regeneration Outreach Community has one-time, short-term, and long-term volunteer opportunities, such as kitchen duties, serving meals, assisting in the clothes closet, or sorting food.  

Habitat for Humanity

Habitat for Humanity provides affordable housing solutions in the region. They are a nonprofit organization dedicated to building homes and empowering families with stable housing. Volunteers play a pivotal role in Habitat for Humanity’s mission. Whether you are skilled in construction or have a passion for community outreach, there are various ways to get involved. 

You can volunteer by mentoring, assisting in building homes alongside experienced construction professionals, helping with deconstruction, or even offering time in administrative roles. Brampton Library

Brampton Library provides an ideal volunteering opportunity for book enthusiasts and advocates of education. Whether you’re in school or an adult, you can help support their various programs.

Brampton Caledon Community Living (BCCL)

BCCL supports individuals with intellectual disabilities and promotes their dignity and rights so they can lead enriched and meaningful lives. If you’re passionate about making a difference in the lives of people with disabilities, BCCL has volunteer opportunities for you.

To join their team, you must be at least 18 years old, commit to a minimum of 3 hours per week, provide 2 professional references, and pass an up-to-date police record check and vulnerable sector check. 

Brampton Meals on Wheels

Brampton Meals on Wheels has been delivering nutritious meals to much-needed individuals since 1963. It’s not just about food delivery to people’s homes; volunteers provide companionship and meaningful conversations for clients who may live alone. Brampton Meals in Wheels provides food for:

  • Individuals who can’t cook themselves
  • Individuals recovering from illness or surgery
  • Individuals living with a physical or mental disability 
  • Seniors unable to go to the grocery store to buy food
  • Canadian veterans
